Checksheets – Seven Basic Quality Tools

Other names for Checksheets are Tally Sheets and Checklists. Checksheets are used to ensure that a series of steps are followed consistently.

As an example, you can use a checksheet to organize the test activities that you’ll be performing. The result of performing these test activities will eventually help track whether a product passes or fails.

Note that checksheets are often used as a means of gathering the data that’s displayed in the pareto charts or even other trending and charting tools.
