Once you are done with the Project Charter, the next step is to create the Project Management Plan. A key difference between Project Charter and Project Management Plan is the fact that while Project Charter is a document that you create once while initiating the project, the Project Management Plan gets developed throughout planning. It is likely that this process is performed at multiple predefined points in the project.
